Conformity of Production (CoP)

Every vehicle, system, part or technical unit that has received EC or ECE approval must be so manufactured that it has the same properties and performance that are expected from the prototype.

The manufacturer must be able to produce the guarantee of Conformity of Production (CoP) in accordance with international directives and regulations.

A first investigation or initial audit of the production process and the control methods play a part in the approval process. Type approvals are issued only after CoP approval, confirmed with a Compliance Statement. After this, supervision is maintained by repeat audits.

HESTOCON takes care of all work concerning the application for Conformity of Production.

Internal audits

As an additional service, by popular demand, we can offer you an annual internal audit of your COP quality system.

During this audit we work with you to record the changes to legislation, vehicles and the organisation and investigate the impact of the changes on the quality system.

COC / COP templates

With this template you can generate easily the Certificates of Conformity (CoC) and the vehicle check lists for the Conformity of Production (CoP). There is also a possibility to print type plates.

This template can alse be made for approvals that have not been prepared by HESTOCON.
